Every November, in Central NY, turtles gather to gather in spirit and consume a variety of spirits. Each year, hundreds of us come together and the hunt is on to find and initiate new members to our Pond.

Although our Pond might be "new" to this website, our group has been growing since the late 70's. Once our Mother Turtle "retired", she passed her shell to the next master of ceremony...in this case it was 2 people. After years of procuring hundreds and hundreds of turtles since the early 80's, once again, it was time to pass the shells to two other willing souls.

We have taken it on (2022 to present) and have been initiating, procuring, sharing laughs, beverages of choice, and most importantly, creating amazing memories!

Most of our members are in education, focusing on health, physical education, recreation, dance, coaching, aquatics, administration, etc...

Once a year, the Association of Shrine Oriental Bands (ASOB) gathers at a different location in the U.S.
The ASOB organizes and holds a turtle degree in conjunction with Brewfest during imperial.

We meet wherever the water and drinks are wet & the pond is snappin’!

Wednesday afternoons at a fine local establishment with Dam. Fine. Beer...Beaver Island Brewing Company, in St. Cloud. World problems are contemplated, (mostly clean) jokes are told, and all are welcome.

No currently scheduled meetings. This group meets informally at GT South Geek and Gaming Tavern. This tavern is open to geek and gamers, and a variety of people, communities, and fandoms. You’re bound to run into a turtle any time you visit. Just ask!

We meet at the Owosso Masonic Lodge on Saturdays after the Masons are done with business. Officially it's the 3rd Saturday but we're there almost every Saturday night.

The name is French, freely translated "The muddy pond near/of Les Loges" is named after the Estate w/castle "Les Loges" in France, on which the International Field Lodge was founded back in 2008. Without "Les Loges" our Turtle Pond wouldn't have existed.

The Lagerhead Turtle Pond was formed during the summer of 2021. We meet at Coop's HL on the third Sunday monthly. We are progressive, while growing at a slow & steady pace!

We are proud to announce that the Kailua Kona Honu (Hawaiian for Turtle) Pond meets just about every evening in the common area of the Casa de Emdeko condominium complex.
Our meetings usually start at cocktail hour and that varies according to the sunset hour.
Some of our members are full time residents and some are only here off and on during the year as their primary residence is somewhere other than Hawaii Island.
We currently have members from Australia, Canada and the USA mainland.

The Vagabond Vandyke Pond meets all over Connecticut

We average 1 meeting per month and flip between Sunday brunch and Saturday dinner.

We have recently had our officer elections (Held in May) and are working on the finer points to filling those stations out.

The original Turtle Club was formed in England by Cpt. Hugh McGowan U.S. Army Air Corps during WW2 as a fun way to blow off steam between bombing and fighter pilot missions.
We would like to honor his memory by continuing the traditions within the Veteran community.
As a newly formed pond, our members are primarily (but not exclusively) members of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
We meet bi-annually at either the Louisiana State Rally or the Region 5 Rally.
This pond is a work in progress and will evolve into a more developed and social gathering place as new turtles are hatched, Officer roles filled, and interest in more meetings are generated.
Our goal is to relax, have fun, and heal each other through our common bond that laughter IS the best medicine.

Meetings are at Pepperjacks in Annapolis Junction, MD. We meet around the 11th of the month, 1500. We are a very laid-back group. At each meeting, we work on crossword puzzles (from various sources, including NYT, WP, and AVCX), share new pens and stories. Many members are interested in fountain pens and other writing implements. In this pond, everything grows: pens, paper, puzzles, people, and personalities.

We meet irregularly, but have an annual "Murder/Mystery/Mayhem Dinner"

We aim to meet at Wilde Cigar + Bar once a month. Generally, this is a Saturday around 5ish or 7ish.

We try to meet once a month on the first. The location varies, however our home is Our Pond and our Pond is wherever 2 or more of us are gathered.

We meet at 513 Sports Cafe in Sharonville Ohio, which I happen to own. Many intermittent meetings happen it between scheduled ones as we all frequent the same establishment and love the sports environment.

Exciting News from the Johnstown Turtle Club (JTC)

On October 20, 2024, the Johnstown Turtle Club officially kicked off its journey! We held our very first quarterly meeting and elected our board members.

Our club house is located on the second floor of Uncle Johnny’s, affectionately nicknamed the “Turtle Taproom.”

The USNA Turtle Club is a pond of the most prestigious degree, tracing its roots stretching all the way back to the evening of December 11th, 2023 on the eve of final exams. A semi-secret coalition of the 5th wing attic-dwellers, we seek to assert our turtle prowess throughout the brigade of midshipmen. Illuminati in a half shell, if you will. Turtles, both of piracy and of war, have united in this noble quest. While other turtles may be seek to join our shelled ranks, they must affirm that Echo company is the superior company.

Our meetings are held at Casa Nueva Restaurant in Overton Plaza in Livingston, Tennessee. Meetings are generally held on Turesday nights beginning at 6:00 pm. Induction meetings are scheduled at often times different nights.

We meet on the grounds of Secret Caverns, which is owned by one of our members, once annually in July, plus at other events as requested, such as the annual Grand Conclave of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of the State of New York each September. Most of our members came to us through the Hudson Valley Forest No. 215 Tall Cedars of Lebanon, with whom we hold our annual meeting in conjunction with.

We meet randomly most in our favorite watering holes and our lodges. Many from across all lily pads of life swim here.
