Every November, in Central NY, turtles gather to gather in spirit and consume a variety of spirits. Each year, hundreds of us come together and the hunt is on to find and initiate new members to our Pond.
Although our Pond might be "new" to this website, our group has been growing since the late 70's. Once our Mother Turtle "retired", she passed her shell to the next master of ceremony...in this case it was 2 people. After years of procuring hundreds and hundreds of turtles since the early 80's, once again, it was time to pass the shells to two other willing souls.
We have taken it on (2022 to present) and have been initiating, procuring, sharing laughs, beverages of choice, and most importantly, creating amazing memories!
Most of our members are in education, focusing on health, physical education, recreation, dance, coaching, aquatics, administration, etc...
