When I became a turtle, it all started when the student leaders from every major org on campus hit us up with this mysterious invitation. No details, just a time, place, and the promise of "something unforgettable." We were asked riddles, drank together, and then were taught all the information about the organization. We had a time, and we continue to invite more leaders to become turtles to our pond.
