A Tradition Dating Back to WWII
The Ancient and Honorable Order of Turtles or International Association of Turtles is a fraternity of fun-loving people from all over the world.
It all started as a way for WWII Air Corps pilots to build a community and blow off some stress from the war.
You will be in good company as a Turtle. Join Astronauts, Presidents, Comedians, Athletes, and members from all branches of the military.
You have to answer four dirty-sounding riddles with clean answers to prove you are “pure-minded” enough to be a Turtle. You will find them on the Join page.
Once you join our humble pond, I’ll send over the complete back story, along with a fun origin story that is good for a belly laugh. Members learn the secret grip, password and have the ability to earn free drinks.
Everyone is welcome.

Turtle Philosophy
“Turtles are bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, fearless, and unafraid folk with a fighter pilot attitude. They think clean, have fun a lot, and recognize the fact that you never get anyplace in life worthwhile unless you stick your neck out.” per Captain Hugh P. McGowan, U.S. Army Air Corps/U.S. Air Force Reserve (Ret.)

Slow, Steady, and Strong: A Turtle’s Take on Labor Day
Hey Turtles, As the aroma of the last big barbecue of the summer fills the air and we stow away our white clothes, it’s easy to think of Labor Day as just a welcome day off. It’s a chance to relax, catch a game, and spend time with family and friends. And while it's...
