Forced into bars and saloons, in search of pure-minded people. Reverend McYertle was inspired to keep the tradition going. In fact, he was so inspired that he bet his sweet ass for the chance to continue the journey!
Cheers to Rev McYertle and those brave soles who have joined the fellowship of the Ancient and Honorable Order of Turtles! Cheers Cheers Cheers!
Each time a new Turtle is procured we extend the life of that little golden turtle. Hard on the outside, soft on the inside, yet brave enough to stick his neck out to get somewhere. That turtle is bright eyed, bushy tailed, fearless and unafraid with a fighter pilot attitude. He thinks clean and has a lot of fun.
We should all raise a pint to that little golden turtle!
For those that have not read the entire Legend of the Turtle, you are in for a fun surprise!
Not only do you learn where the little golden turtle comes from, but you also learn the history of the old saying, “Don’t know your ass from a hole in the ground!”

P.S. Note from Dave
On a personal note, I’m a little distracted today. We fly out to CA tomorrow to visit my son. He is wrapping up his formal education at Stanford with a PHD in Aeronautics and Astronautics. Bright kid. Skips a generation I’m told:)
My dad was a major general aviation enthusiast and made a decent living flying around the country and Europe selling avionics gear. Wish he was here. He would be so proud. He is who introduced me to the Ancient and Honorable Order of Turtles, many years ago.
So, look for more Turtle fun next week! I’ve gotta go pack some Turtle Club cards, lapel pins and such for the trip!
